We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Designer to join our creative team full-time for three months, with the possibility of extension. As a Senior Designer at Studio Mondu, you will play a pivotal role in creating high-quality design work that brings our clients' brands to life and helps them grow. The ideal candidate has a passion for branding, a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
While some projects involve building brands from the ground up, a significant portion of this role focuses on supporting and extending established brands. Success in this role requires the ability to confidently work within existing brand guidelines, manage complex projects with many moving parts, and deliver polished, accurate work across presentations, digital campaigns, web assets, and marketing materials while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail throughout.
Conceptualize and execute design projects from ideation to completion,
Ensure brand consistency across diverse marketing initiatives,
Translate project goals into compelling design concepts,
Articulate design rationale, welcome constructive criticism, and adeptly incorporate feedback,
Stay updated on design trends, tactics, software, and industry standards,
Ability to prioritize and manage workload,
Communicate efficiently to keep projects moving forward,
Work confidently within established brand guidelines while extending brands across new channels and touchpoints,
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail,
Collaborate closely with creative directors, account managers, developers, and clients to deliver exceptional work,
Prepare production-ready files and ensure all deliverables meet quality assurance standards,
Take ownership of projects, proactively identifying challenges and presenting solutions,
Support both strategic brand development projects and ongoing marketing initiatives for established brands.
Diploma in Graphic Design,
5+ years of hands-on experience in the field working within agencies,
Proven track record as a designer, supported by a robust portfolio,
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and visual composition,
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) Figma and Microsoft Office,
Knowledge in utilizing AI to advance projects,
Exceptional time management and productivity skills to meet tight deadlines,
Comprehensive understanding of digital and print production processes,
Proactive and collaborative attitude with a problem-solving mindset,
Ability to think beyond the brief, offering solutions that align with project goals,
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Thorough knowledge and experience in design and brand development,
Additional skills in copywriting, illustration, animation etc.are highly valued.
